Movies
1. Ella Enchanted
-While these aren't in any realy important order I picked this one for number one because it's my ultimate feel good movie. I never seem to get tired it it :) It's odd that I like this movie considering I love the book and this movie absolutely mutilates it. However, I just adore Anne Hathaway, and the movie. It's an odd thing.
2. Hunchback of Notre Dame (Disney)
-It makes me sad that many people don't appreciate how amazing this animated movie is. It explores the way we look at things, and that everything isn't as it seems. It's also one of the few Disney movies had a heroine that was totally kick-butt. Mulan was the other one. I mean, the other princesses were awesome, but slightly lame to me. The depth to the villan was also interesting to me. Frollo believed what he was doing was right, instead of just being a greedy/power hungry/revengfull guy.
3. Pirates of the Caribbean I and II
-Who doesn't love a little snarky pirate fun? Plus, I'm totally a Johnny Depp fangirl :-P Well, maybe not totally fangirl, but I'm on that line. The odd thing is that right now I liked the second one slightly more than the first, despite its sudden ending. Of course I've only seen the second one twice, so it may or may not actually hold up.
Other movies...
-Mulan, Pride and Prejudice, HP movies, Serenity, Indiana Jones, National Treasure, RENT, Star Wars, Narnia...
Music
1. Switchfoot
-Oh, ehm, gizzle. These guys are awesome. I just love their sound, and the guys in the band are insanely funny. I've seen them in concert once, and I hope to see them again.
2. Wicked
-I'm putting this here because I don't know where else to put it :-P I just love this musical. It's an amazing production, with an intruiging story, and gorgeous music. If you ever get the chance to go see it, go see it. Don't think. Just do.
3. KT Tunstall
-Her music isn't my usual style of music to listen to, but I like it alot. Her voice is incredible, and it's fun music to listen to.
Other Music...
-Falling Up, Cadence, Evanescence, Jem, Fusebox, Jars of Clay, Superchick....
Books
1. Harry Potter
-*meep* These books are just so amazingly awesome. Such a great work of plot devices, characters, settings, made up words, ect :-P It's hard to put how much I like these books into words. Just know I do have a costume, and I've worn it to book release parties :-P
2. Twilight
-Wow. I just got a hold of this one, and it's a painfull book to put down! Stephanie Meyer is incredibly good at making you just feel the events happening. It's just amazing. I also love the sequal, New Moon.
3. Enchanted Forest Chronicles
-It was hard for me to pick a number three, but I've loved this since I was a kid (smaller kid, I suppose I'm technically still a kid) but I've reread these books so many times, and I love the books on tape/cd. It's a sweet story, and a magically world.
Other books...
-Wicked, Diary of a Teenage Girl Series, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen, Faerie Wars and The Purple Emporer, Claidi's Journals, Ella Enchanted, The Veritas Project (Hangman's Curse and Nightmare Acadamy)...
